Sousuke Sagara is a seventeen-year-old military specialist who works for the a secret organization called Mithril. He had been assigned to protect a Japanese high school girl, Kaname Chidori. But, there’s one issue, he must adapt to the life of a normal high school student; must attend class, stay close to her in order to protect her from the enemies who are after her, but that’s not going to be an easy task for someone who was raised on the battlefield. That isn’t the only task, he must not reveal his true identity. Kaname realizes that Sousuke is protecting her but he can’t reveal the reasons and he doesn’t know why she’s being targeted by different organizations.

Sousuke Sagara and Kaname Chidori go into more misadventures in and out of high school. Kaname ends up getting into some trouble while Sousuke makes an appearance being the gun-wielding butt-kicking mascot, and struggles to keep up with living as a normal high school student. Superior Officer Teletha Testarossa, decides to take a vacation from her job at Mithril, he must juggle protecting both girls, while Teletha spends a few weeks living as his and Kaname’s classmate.
