           Sora Naegino is a sixteen-year old acrobat from Japan, whose dream is to join the stage with performers of Kaleido Stage, is a circus that combines graceful acrobatics, dazzling costumes, and stunts that keep the audience on the edge of their seat. Ever since her childhood, she was mesmerized with the performances in Kaleido Star and always had that dream of becoming the best.

           She moves from Japan to California to audition for the circus, hoping to one day be the greatest acrobat in Kaleido Star. Sora will find out that she needs to work hard to be a performer just like everyone else. She runs into rivals who get in her way and others who believe that Sora doesn’t have what it takes to be the greatest performer. Sora also makes some friends along the way helping her find her confidence in her performance on her quest to become a star. Will she finally get the respect of those who doubted her from the beginning? Does Sora have what it takes to become the greatest star?

           Layla Hamilton is the most popular performer at Kaleido Stage, but now active as a Broadway actress. She starts thinking about the past times at Kaleido Star and her rival, Sora. Layla starts feeling that something is missing in her life, and feels she has to find out what it is before pursuing her dreams as an actress. Layla decides to go for a bike ride to find out what is missing in her life. What can be the interference in her life that she must find out?
