           Himeko Kurusegawa and Chikane Himemiya are two high school girls and Ototachibana Academy. Both girls are the reincarnations of solar and lunar mikos. Until there sixteenth birthday, on the first day of October, both girls share the same birthday. On that day their enemy, Orochi, from the ancient times had risen again, both girls’ long-sealed personas awaken to to defend the world. To defend the world, both girls must take on the Sun and Moon roles of the shrine maidens.
