           Kenji Tomosaka moved when he was a child in the coastal region. There he meets Nanami Konoe who lives next door to him. They become real close friends as time passes, and everyone knows that they have a special relationship, but they are determined to stay as close friends. The series goes through flashbacks, showing why they are such close friends, and no action goes between them trying to break them up but whatever happens keeps them closer than ever. They think of their relationship as a precious thing, but the summer isn’t just an ordinary summer to them.
