           Some spirits from another world formed an alliance with Earth and granted certain girls the power to become magical girls. Three years ago, alien invaders called the Disas appeared and destroyed everything on Earth, that is until they were being followed by a group of elite magical girl soldiers came along and fought against them. After defeating the monsters, the survivors of the battles have been named the Magical Five. After the war, the Magical Five go their separate ways with Kurumi Mugen, Mia Cyrus, Tamara Volkova, and Lau Peipei returning to independently continue with their own military services. The leader of the group, Asuka Otori, decided to retire and become a regular high school student. After three years had passed, Asuka’s peace has been shortened when the aliens made their way back to Earth. Their return, had made her come out of retirement and join a squadron of magical girls to defend Earth.
