Tsunami is one of the chosen canidates to be queen of the magic kingdom Juraihelm.
To be queen, she has to pass one final test ~ she has to pick an idol who can represent
her and restore the balance of goodness in the universe. Tsunami has chosen Sasami but
she feels she has been forced to be a Magical Girl and doesn’t want to be. Sasami’s
Magical Wand turns her into Pretty Sammy and a creature named Ryo-ohki who guides her.

Rumiya, Tsunami’s rival, doesn’t like Tsunami, but she acts as though as if she’s her
friend. Rumiya thinks that she is more superior then Tsunami and tries everything to
have Tsunami fail. Sasami will have to face against another Magical Girl named Pixie
Misa, chosen by the plotting former candidate for Juraihelm queen Rumiya. Can Pretty
Sammy bring love and peace to earth and save the town from Pixie Misa? While, Pixie
Misa causes chaos on earth, when Sasami doesn’t want to accept her power of magic. Not
to mention, Sasami doesn’t know that Misa is really her best friend Misao. This series
has alternate versions of Tenchi characters and make guest appearences as the show goes on.
