           In the future, an accidental release of an experimental virus caused an outbreak which changes the brain chemistry of everyone in the world, which allows them to see dimensional beings called phantoms. Some children who were born after the outbreak developed special powers which allows them to battle and seal the phantoms. Private school, Hosea Academy, a school for children with special abilities, has a Phantom Hunting Club, which Haruhiko Ichijo and his friends attend. In their club they go everyday life struggles dealing with phantoms.
