Tazuna Takatsuki is a high school student who lives in Osaka, and always having a tendency to fiddle around with machines. One day, he accepts a repair request from Professor Makihara, and he meets a white haired girl named Koyori Akutagawa, who has been put to sleep to conserve her life force. Tazuna touches her fingertips and he hears a voice from an unknown place. He gets pulled into a different world called Ziggurat. Professor Makihara had remembered her dying wish to never let go of her hand, therefore, Koyori must keep holding Tazuna’s hand, his power as a Hand Shaker has been woken. However, Koyori’s life is connected to her status and a Hand Shaker, meaning that if Tazuna let’s go of her hand she would die. Together as Hand Shakers they must find a way to make their unique powers work together to earn the right to confront God, where they will be able to make their wish come true.

Since he was young, Yukiya had been inspired from listening to house music DJ-ing while he’s alone and uploads his videos online. He longs for the feeling to be recognized and important but if he breaks out of his comfort zone that would mean he has a risk of getting hurt. He decided to try to do something to get more views on his videos and stumbles across a live broadcast from “that world.” At that time, Yukiya didn’t know that his life was the beginning of a new change in his life.
