Having failed his college entrance exams twice already, nineteen-year-old Minato Sahashi, is intelligent but struggling during his studies and doesn’t have the ability to cope well while under pressure. One day, Minato comes in contact with a girl named Musubi, who fell from the sky. Soon she reveals to him that she’s a Sekirei, a humanoid extraterrestrial with extraordinary abilities, and decides to choose him as her Ashikabi, a gene that can awaken additional hidden powers deep within. So she kisses him and caused a bond between the two of them, wich allows them to use their full power in the elimination battles with other Sekirei. All other 108 Sekireis’ must fight in a competition which is known as the Sekirei Plan, for the one coupled winner. Minato soon gathers with other Sekirei and also being their Ashikabi, he must learn how to cope with life threatening battles and all his Sekirei’s fighting for competition for him.

The second stage battles had begun and the battle to find the supreme Sekirei continues. Some of the fighters and their masters refuse to join the battle because losing the battle means to lose the Sekirei forever.
Minato Sahashi and his heram Sekireis’ must prepare for the new battles as the battles had changed the rules a bit. There are rumors spreading around that the Single Numbers, who are the most powerful Sekirei are joining the battles. In Minaka Hiroto’s eye, the plan has been running smoothly.
